The later versions are locked whereas older but still very functional ones are unlocked and free to download.

A treasure trove of free maps made by enthusiasts around the world. Be careful what you download, quality here varies markedly!



Some includes installer whereas others don't and a lot of maps failed compilation and are not much use unless you can fix it yourself.

Very good free Australia Roads & Topo maps with lots of details. Non auto routing though.
